“The love for nature, a place for nurture”
Prairie is a large area of flat grassland with a moderate climate and few trees, which allows it to nurture its rich biodiversity.
The biodiversity in the Prairie symbolizes the wide range of interests covered in GGAS, which are geography, geology and archaeology. Like how prairie provides a pleasant environment for various species to grow, Prairie strives to provide our Members with a comfortable environment to learn. Also just as prairies are, with down-to-earth short bushes, Prairie aims to establish a close relationship with Members. We would like to be approachable and accepting to facilitate the communication between the Executive Committee, Members and the Department.
This year, five bushes have decided to settle in the extensive prairie of GGAS. Although scarce, they are passionate about exploring the other side of the horizon and are prepared to overcome showers and gales. Prairie will complement each other with their strengths to achieve their greatest potential. Prairie promises to put in their best effort to raise the awareness of the relationship between humans and their living environment, as well as promote the beauty of our blue planet.
